Mr. Werbil is an Indiana native and holds degrees from Ball State University and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He was ordained in the United Methodist Church and pastored churches in Indiana and Michigan for fifteen years before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana, and entering the counseling field, in 1989. He has experience in several hospital systems in the area, such as Fairbanks Hospital, St. Vincent Stress Center, and Crestview Center in Anderson, Indiana. These positions offered extensive experience with addictions, adolescents and families, including assessment and group work, inpatient, intensive outpatient and in schools.
In 1999, Mr. Werbil had the opportunity to begin private practice at Family Counseling Associates, specializing in addictions, men’s issues, and couples therapy. He continued there until 2006, when he and his wife, Janelle, formed Lifebridge Counseling and Consulting, Inc.
